Well that is about it, I made 3 of them, will post all seperately as I still have issues with blogger, sorry.

For all 3, I just used supplies from my stash, PP, some butterflies, used Glossy accents some Ribbon, some glue, lace flower and that is about it, I did not use any dies or such this time around.

Well, back to my spring cleaning, and potting of my house plants, our work is NEVER done.
Have a great weekend.

Spring Has Sprung!!! YEAH!!

Well, the flowers are blooming, time has changed and the temps are on the Rise, so it is a good start to spring in our Neck of the Woods. Hope things are as well with you all.
Hope everyone had a wonderful St. Paddies day, ours was quiet, well if you can call having two grandchildren bursting with energy zooming all over the place, and of course my 80 pound dog does not know that she is a dog and not a kid, had to keep up with the kids and if they were outside and she could not go with them, then she was crying at the front door until they came back, so NOT a quiet day, lets just say a predictable day. But it was so very nice, as usual, my daughter was not around the block and my dear grandson, was out the door to hunt down his friends in the neighborhood to ride bikes or play basket ball, very much ALL little boy and always on the go!!
Then joy of my heart, my lovely granddaughter and I were busy in the kitchen, she helped me make dinner, and we made 3 different kinds of puddings and layered them, so it was a very nice afternoon, bonding and spending some wonderful quality time with the grand kids, did my soul a world of good, Kailey loves to cook and is a sponge in the kitchen, LOVE it. Thank goodness the weather was decent, and Brandon could go out, Love them both, but he does get bored so easily if he has to be indoors. Don't get me wrong, he also loves video games and the computer, but to me if they are young they should be OUTSIDE if the weather is nice, too many of today's kids are glued to the TV, Computer and Video games, would rather have them playing in the mud!!! So needless to say, that left not much time for card making over the weekend. And I was exhausted by the time they went home, but a good exhausted. Even the dog was pooped!!

BUTTTT, I did get to finish my weekly card for the Challenge over at Joans Gardens, she has a weekly challenge which is always so much fun, some wonderful people and some great prizes, always a pleasure. So if you would like to give it a try, HERE is the link to this weeks challenge.

So will post the guidelines below:

Here is what you need to do for Joan's Gardens Weekly Challenge #10

Create an Easter Card with a bunny

Use an embossed background

■Colors appropriate for Easter
■Some kind of Flourish
■Rhinestones

You will have until next Thursday (March 22) morning 6:00 AM EST to link your project.

You can enter more than once. A winner will be chosen from the Random Drawing for week #10

challenge and will be announced Friday March 23. This winner will win a Cuttle bug embossing Folder. The winner will also be entered in the end of the year $100 gift certificate drawing.

And it would not be complete without Selma's sample card for the challenge, Selma is Joan's wonderful Design team and friend and is wonderfully creative, she is so talented and gives us some great inspiration, and you can check out her card HERE, at Selma's Stamping Corner.

Well, guess that is enough for tonight, time to go enjoy a good movie or my weekly shows, maybe a miracle will happen and I will make it back with another card for Joan's challenge or just another spring card, as Easter is on the way and will have to get some family cards made for that, so we shall see, there is also my entire house waiting for me to do some SPRING cleaning, UGH, dread that chore, wish I could win the lottery and just pull a truck up to the house and dump everything and just start out fresh!! Heck, just buy a new house and just move in. One can dream!!

Have a great week everyone!!

One Man Trash is Anothers Treasure!

Hello cyber world,
Well it is a beautiful sunny day here in NJ, but oh so chilly, and hopefully it is the end of the cold and the start of spring, nice start to daylight savings time at least, tomorrow is supposed to be at about 60 degrees, 20 warmer than today!! Our crocus are blooming and the daffodils are not far behind. And Warmer temps are forecast for next week (70-75), I am so looking forward to working in the garden and seeing all the flowers blooming!! Open windows and open doors. The joy of SPRING!!

Anyway it is time for Joan's weekly challenge, to go there, just click HERE, and following are the guidelines for this week, which was a total challenge for me, as I had a very hard time finding a container to convert!! But it was a very fun challenge, and to know that it would have been in the garbage, will make me look at all things a bit differently from now on!! Just have to learn to think outside the box!! So if you want to enter a fun challenge, hop on over to Joan's each week and see what is on for the week and what you can win!!! She also has weekly sales and always seems to be getting in new stuff!! Wonderful place.

Here is what you need to do for Joan's Gardens Weekly Challenge #9
■Use a recycled box, preferably round
■Color theme can be your choice
■Use some Lace
■Use Pearls and Flowers
You will have until next Thursday (March 15) morning 6:00 AM EST to link your project.

You can enter more than once. A winner will be chosen from the Random Drawing for week #9
challenge and will be announced Friday March 16. This winner will win a LaBlance Stamp. The winner will also be entered in the end of the year $100 gift certificate drawing.

And as usual, the wonderful Selma, has made an example creation and you can view that on her blog, Selma's Stamping Corner, HERE.

Now for my project for this challenge, I ended up using the same container that Selma used, as it was the only round cardboard container I could find, guess I could have used an icing container, they all had plastic lids, nothing seems to come in plain cardboard anymore or for that matter in Round containers, everything is square, but I guess that makes sense as it is easier for boxing reasons and stacking on shelves.
Anyway, I forgot to take a picture of the Laughing Cow cheese container before I covered it, so I only have the finished product.

Supplies used, bazzil card stock, green foliage cut out with Memory Box Dies, Roses made with Memory box dies, Butterfly made with the new Spellbinder Butterfly die, some bling, some lace around the box, and that was it. I will probably keep my paper clips in this box. All products I used today, can be purchased through Joan, and if she does not have an item in stock, she usually can get it pretty quickly upon request, hers is a great place to shop!! Wonderful communication, and great service!!
Thanks for all you do Joan!!

Oh well, off and running, NOT. !! Hubby wants to go to Lowe's, guess I will go look at patio sets, need a new one for our deck!!

Below are some other challenges I am entering my spring box into!!

Well, I have also decided to enter this box into another challenge over at Totally Paper Crafts, HERE. That is an easy one, as the challenge is 'My Favorite Things', and as Butterflies and Flowers are right up there with my favorites, I decided to enter. So if you have time, check them out.

Here we go, off to enter in another wonderful challenge, as others seem to do this, I might as well, this is a challenge over at another blog I frequent, Marks Finest Papers, and they are having a Bingo challenge, you have to do what is in one of the Bingo lines, and I do have that, I have lace, circles and Bling, so my box will also be entered at their challenge as well, and that is HERE.

Another Blog, 2 Sisters Challenge Blog is having a Spring Color Challenge, HERE, and I think that clarifies my box, that is why I made it, spring is trying to come, and to me pink flowers and butterflies is everything spring!! So go and check it out!!
Thanks for looking.

While visiting Paper Play Challenges, I decided to enter their challenge as well, as it is "Recycled", and my laughing Cow container is definitely recycled now!! So if you would like, check out their wonderful blog , HERE. THANKS

Thanks

Have a great weekend everyone.

Thanks for stopping by.

Hugs
