Final Bout for the day!!

Well here is the last for the day, well for now anyway, and again this is for the Quick and Easy Challenge of the Week over at Joan's Gardens, a wonderful blog to hang out at.
Anyway, this one I used Bazzil card stock, embossed a white sheet on top of some PP, embossed it with my Polka Dot embossing folder, you can't see it much, I guess I was not at the right angle when shooting the picture, and I am so whipped from shopping I don't have the energy to go and re shoot, sorry.
Anyway, I then cut a square with my Fleur DE Li's nestabilitie die, distressed the edge with vintage photo, added the pretty large brown bow, some bling and the Prima decorations in the middle of the Fleur DE Li's.
I know I cheated, usually I make most of my flowers, but I have to use up some of this Prima I have sitting around, too pretty not to use, it is a catch 22, love it so much I want to keep it, but then it is too pretty to keep it sitting around!!!

And that made this one quick and easy!!
Thanks for stopping by, may be back later with another, we'll see, husband wants to go to the mall when he gets up from his nap!! And for some dumb reason even though I was so tired, I could not fall asleep!! Hopeully will sleep tonight!

Bye for now,
hugs

Quick Creations

Hi All, well today's posts are for the Weekly Challenge over Yonder at Joan's Gardens, this weeks guidelines is supposed to be cards that were easy and fairly quick to create, and for me I did 3 that took me about about an hour total to make, so for me, that is quick.
No lengthy explanations today, went Christmas shopping, so I am POOPED.
Here is the first card. As they are easy, it should be pretty straight forward what I did. Used bazzil card stock, an embossing folders, used my chalks on top of embossed and raised image, stamped the penguin image and touche it up with my colored pencils, added a bow and touched up around the hat with a glitter pen.
Thanks for stopping by,

Todays Second Go Round, called Cold Hugs!

This is a card I started some time ago, and just could not finish for some reason, had the image stamped and colored and that was about it.
So added it to some Dark blue card stock, used my Nestabilities edgeabilities for the edge of the card.
I also used Cheery Lynn Minature, Medium and Large Rose Dies to make the flowers.
Used one of my Memory box dies,La Rue Flourish, that is behind the Maggie stamp, which I colored with my copics. Then popped it with some 3D foam dots for dimension. Punched some various size snowflakes, added a bow and some bling and FINISHED.
Thanks for stopping by.
Entering this in the weekly Challenge over at Joan's Gardens, Anything goes Christmas creations, wonderful site!!
This is also entered in the Weekly challenge at Cheery Lynn's Blog, the theme is Flowers this week, check it out!! Whom dies I just love!! You have to use at least one of their dies in the challenge.
Thanks

Commercial break will be back!!
Later,

Todays Newest Additions to Xmas Collection of Cards

Well, did not think I would do any cards today, but could not sleep, it is 2 am right now, so finished up two cards I had started the other day, here is the first one, and it is Window die Grand Madison from Poppy Stamps. I also used my Hero Arts stamp Musical Walk, and also some of my Heartfelt Creations Tree Stamps, this is the view through the window. Used Distress inks from Ranger.
I made the greenery from one of my Cheery Lynn dies,(B 118 Pair of ferns) and also Martha Stewart punch.
The flowers are made with a Cheery Lynn die (B152 Miniature Rose)just love this die, heck, love all my Dies.
Also used, Memory Box Fauntleroy Crest Die (top of window). Just winged it and cut the curtains free hand, added some bling here and there, stickles in the middle of the flowers, and I think that is it. Don't remember the PP name, from my stash.
Thanks for looking,
Will be back with other cards shortly.
Hugs

Gee almost forgot, going to enter this card in Joan's weekly challenge over at Joan's Gardens, WONDERFUL site, this weeks challenge is Anything goes Christmas Card, take a gander on over!!!

Another fantastic site is Cheery Lynn, where I get a good amount of their Dies, either directly from them or Joans Gardens, she carries most of their dies and will order anything you want if she does not have it in stock, ask and you shall receive.
Wonderful service from both sites.
Also entering this card in the Weekly challenge at Cheery Lynn's blog, you have to follow the theme of the week, use at least one of their dies, (more is better of course), I would use a lot more if I had a lot more, but we all know how that ball rolls, that dreaded almighty dollar holds us all back!! :)
Check out their site and blog, you won't be sorry.

Im BACCCCCK!

Guess I lied! OOPs. I made 4 cards today, that has got to be a record for me, and that is only because one card was started last week, and I finished it today, hate when something sits around staring at me 1/2 finished.
So this last card was another made for our local Stamp and craft Store, again it is Decembers Monthly Card Contest , they give the supplies and you can add anything to it, but you must use all of what they supplied. And as it applies, it also will go for Joan's Weekly Challenge, so I will enter it there as well.

I Used one of my nestabilities label dies, forget the number and too darn lazy to go look, sorry, used distress inks, lots of 3d Foam to raise the labels, used my Heartfelt Creations Tree stamp, Magnificent Spruce set, love these trees. I also used my Memory box die, for making the shining star. Added a some sparkle on the star and trees using a glitter pen, does not show up much in the picture. This I think was the easiest of the cards to make, hardest part was cutting the frame out with the dies, other wise Easy Peasy as they say.

This is my LAST post, off to watch that movie , finally.

Good night to all.
And Thanks for stopping by my lonely little corner of the world.

Last of the Day

Well, this is the last post of the day, and last card, as I am watching a movie and will probably fall asleep watching it and looking around Pinterest, love that site!!

Last card again for Joans Challenge and it was going to be for another challenge last week, but I never got it finished, so finished it today!!

Dark brown card stock, The Frame is Gold card stock and the die used is from Cheery Lyn designs(Japanese Garden Lace), and then I used my Nestability Poinsettia die , and used a rich red vellum and made the poinsettia with that, and the greenery is My Gentle leaf die from Poppy Stamps and Martha Stewart punch, mixed them all together, added some bling and done!! Was going to add a bow, but thought it might look too busy.

See you on the flip side, and thanks for stopping by. Hope to be back tomorrow.

Round Two

Back again, and with my second card of the day, this card is again for Joan's Challenge over at Joan's Gardens and it is Anything Goes week, and my card today was made with a Poppy Stamps die, called Grand Madison Window, and I LOVE this die, you will be seeing a lot of this one I think! I used my spellbinders Poinsettia die and Martha Stewart spring punch, and another die from Poppy Stamps, called, Gentle Leaf.

And that is all she wrote!! May be back in a bit with another card that I made.
Thanks for stopping by.

New Weeks Creations

Well, the start of a new week, and a few more cards for the weekly challenge at Joans Gardens, my first card is also for a Monthly contest at our local Stamp Store The Cove, they supply the PP and card stock, and some embellishments, you have to use all or some of all, and can add anything else you want.
For the contest at Joan's this week, it is ANYTHING goes for Christmas, so easy enough.
The first one is a new die for me, from Memory box, a Christmas tree. So dainty, but enjoyable to work with. It does not show here, but the tree was sprayed with a spray called Mr. Hueys, and it adds a very nice glimmer to it. I would have used bling and not the red bows that are on the tree, but had to use them as they were part of the package supplied by the cove.
Be back shortly with second card.
Thanks for stopping by.

Winter Window

I am so excited, I just got in the mail yesterday my new dies from PoppyStamps, they are two window dies one of which I used in this card I am showing today. I used the bigger of the two dies for this card. I stamped some trees with distress ink, using different shades of color to create depth, then to add more depth, I added 3d foam dots under the window.
I made the wreath with the Martha Stewart sprig punch, and some bling and a bow.
Then added some more sprigs at the bottom of the window and draped some lights that I have had in my stash for some time.
I had to use this PP, as the card was made for a local contest and they provide the supplies and you have to make whatever card you would like with what they give you, and you can add what ever you would like as well, The card is also for the weekly Challenge over at Joans Gardens. She is now carrying these window dies as well, when I ordered them I did not know she would be carrying them, as I saw them used on another blog, called KittieKraft, she does beautiful work.
So if you have time check out the challenge over at Joan's, wonderful place to visit and do some shopping !! :)
Another wonderful blog and place to get some inspiration is over at Wee Memories, Jenny and all the girls there do a fantastic job, and have challenges, and such, there is always a lot going on. So this challenge is a free for all, anything goes, so there are a few guidelines and must do's, go on over and check it out!!
So many wonderfu challenges going on, another terrific blog I came across, and entering in their challenge as well, is Card Makin Mommas, really enjoyed myself check it out!! Challenge #35 - Christmas, is their challenge at this site, Card Makin Momma's.
I am also entering this card in Crafty Emma's Store's Blog contest, they have a lovely site with some awesomely talented folks posting, so if you have time, check them out!!

Christmas Tag Inspired by Tim

Well, for the last 3 years I have done the 12 tags of Christmas along with the oh so talented T!m Holtz, but after the first 3 tags, I ran out of steam and did not even have some of the products to complete one of the tags, and had nothing to substitute even for it, so I just decided with all that is going on and that I had to do, to forgo doing the rest of the tags this year. But I am going to enter the first Tag I did, at the challenge over at Joan's Garden this week, the theme was to do a Christmas tag, anything goes, may even enter the one or two Tags I did manage to get done, have to see if I have the steam to photo them and make the posts!!
So I hope everyone is having fun preparing for the Holidays!! I have mixed feelings about them, so won't go into it right now.
Take care and Happy Holidays.
