Spring Love
Here is a card for Valentines day, for a challenge at Joan's this week.
This week the challenge at Joan's Gardens is to create a Valentine using non-traditional colors.
Here is what you need to do for Joan's Gardens Weekly Challenge #2:
■Create a Valentine in "non-traditional" colors
■Use some kind of lace
■Use a flower - rose if possible
■Use a key - optional You will have until next Thursday (January 19) morning 6:00 AM EST to link your project.
You can enter more than once. Here is a gorgeous sample card from the wonderful Selma, from Selma's Stamping Corner.
My Card I used my Madison Window Die from Poppy Stamps, I love this die for some reason. Also used my Martha Stewart punch for the greenery (twig sprig), and also dies from Cheery Lynn, my spellbinders die, for the label. And for the very tiny flowers is from a Martha Stewart punch around the page set.
Used also my copics, glossy accents, and some PP for curtains and some lace, which was also part of the requirements of the challenge, so I put my lace on the curtains. And instead of snow falling, being as we are so snow starved around here in NJ, I put little falling hearts!! Sorry no key in my card, did not have one, and it was not a requirement.
Thanks for stopping by.
Hugs
