Hi All, and a very Happy Holidays , to you all. I have not created anything in the past week as I am temporarily set back with Pneumonia, as soon as I get some energy I hope to make a few more Xmas or winter cards before I start on things for next year. So I thought I would just pop in and say a quick Hi and let my few friends know I am alive but moving slowly right now.
Hope to be back soon,

This card I stamped the branch and colored with distress markers, then stamped the owl on a separate card stock and colored and cut it out with copics and 3D popped it on the branch and well as one of the nuts
The berries are 3D popped at well, and the big eyes of the owl I covered in Glossy accents, it does not show up in the tag, but it does show more in real life!!

This is actually two different stamps, Rudolph and the saying are one stamp, and then one day I saw the stamp of Clarice in a store that matched this other stamp and I could not restrain myself. Love that cartoon.

Joan's 42nd Challenge of the Year "Tags"
Hi All,
Been a while for me, have had a bad few weeks health wise again, just can't win, so I have been keeping a low profile.
Anyway, been using up my scraps to make some tags for gifts for the Holiday season, all others supplies vary, most of the items can be purchased at Joan's Gardens, some of the stamped images I have used may not, as they are older images. But all else used can be, distress markers and copics to color, stickles and glossy accents, dies, wonderfully colored papers, I got one package of each color combo and love them, any questions, just ask as each posting with picture, will be brief, not going to bore each tag with an explanation or listing of product.
Again, hop on over to Joan's Gardens, her website is HERE, and it is a wonderful place to shop and make friends. And of course Selma's wonderful samples always give us great inspiration and they can be found HERE.
Once you get to Joan's you will see the list of guidelines and the prize and such, ENJOY

Stained Glass Window
Here is another creation I did when I got my new dies in some time ago, they are from Poppy Stamps, and I love working with these dies.
This one, I used two way tape and glitter, and the glitter does not come off once applied, I can now rub my hand across it and NO glitter comes off, I usually hate working with glitter, but this stuff is great.
I made this card for a Demo for our local store.
Thanks for stopping by.

Local Card Swap Creation
Hi All, thought I would post my card that I created for our Local Card Swap. I have to drop them off today, was time consuming to do, but did it all in steps and then did assembly all at once. The image I stamped is a Lilly Of The Valley stamp, they are so adorable. Colored the image with copics, and the snow flakes with a glitter pen, then did some layers with my nestabilities, and some PP. The poinsettia was a Marianne Die, and I used this sparkle glue like substance from Martha Stewart, it is thick like paste and when it dries, it dries hard and looks like snow, I am going to try and make a Xmas card with a Tree and put this stuff on, I think it will look wonderful. If you have any questions, just give a shout out.
We have 12 people doing the swap, so I had to make 12 of the same cards and then we turn them in at the store, and will get 12 cards back all different , I have being doing this for 3 years now and really enjoy all the different cards I get back. Some times I keep the cards and other times I used them or donate them to Operation Write Home. I am going to donate all my UN used cards from this year, time to clean out the closet so to speak.
Oh well, may be back to show off something else before I get rid of them.
Thanks for stopping by.

2nd Entry for Joans Challenge #41
Well, it must be a miracle, two weeks in a row I actually got two cards for the challenge done, I don't think I have ever done that, I am usually a last minute person, down to the wire. I can remember as a child, getting yelled at by my mother. I would be given a home work assignment in school, had a whole month to do the report, and there I was at the last minute, running around trying to get the information needed, the only thing we had were encyclopedia's, NO Internet. Kids now a days don't know how easy they have it!! So I guess I have not learned, I still leave stuff to the last minute!! The only difference is now I have no Mother to yell at me, just my husband!!! :)
Oh well, here is my second entry for Joan's Challenge, you can visit the challenge and Joan's site, HERE.
Again, I used scraps from my scrap bin, the last piece of the paper bag, and this stamped image is from Lillie of The Valley. The flower is Memory Box or Poppy Stamps.(Too tired to go look) :)
Enjoy and thanks for stopping by.

Challenge #40 At Joans Garden
Hi All, sorry I missed last weeks challenge with Hurricane Sandy hitting our area hard, it has been a stressful week. Luckily we only lost power for
4-5 days, others in our area have lost EVERYTHING, some areas look like a war zone, so very sad. And luckily we got our power back just as it got cold out, so we did not suffer as bad as others, and we also had a generator, after Hurricane Irene hit here last year, we learned our lesson then, we gassed our cars full the day before and stocked up on what we could, and would need, and I am so glad we did, some folks were waiting in the gas line for 4 hours just to get gas for their generators.
So for us at least the roughest is over, but others have so much to endure. Even my daughter, she works 2 jobs to make ends meet and both her jobs were closed due to no power, no work, no pay, so some how and in some form it did effect us all in this area. Saying many prayers for all those in need!!!
On to brighter notes, for this weeks challenge, maybe I will even be able to make more than 1 entry, that would be a first.
So here is my first entry For Joan's weekly challenge #40, some of if not all products I have used I got at Joan's Gardens or they can be found there, if not, just ask and Joan will do what she can to help you.
For the guideline's and prize for this weeks challenge, just check things out HERE at Joan's Gardens.
And of course we all get some of our inspiration from Selma, from Selma's Stamping Corner, and her sample card for the challenge can be found HERE.
I have not listed what I use, but if you have a question, just ask and I will try and get right back to you.

Joan's Gardens Weekly Challenge #38
Gee, guess we know it is time for my post for Joan's weekly challenge, did not think that I would get it made it time, one thing after another kept popping up, and It is a Miracle that I got it done. Not sure what I think of it yet, but being as it is down to the wire, I don't have time to Re Do anything!!
Love to build snowmen with my grand kids and dog, so I went with these two stamps, one of a dog and of a snowman, added some trees and snow and that is all she wrote.
Stamped both, colored with copics and cut them out, they are both popped with 3D dots, as well as the frame. Put some snow and glitter on my trees, used some glossy accents on their noses and such, and some wonder fluff on the snowman's hat for the ball at the tip of the hat. I used one of my spell binders, the grands to cut the frame and I think that is it. Oh, we had to black emboss something, so my sentiment is stamped and embossed with black embossing powder then I hit it with the old heat gun. Thanks and Any questions, just give me a yell, or email!!
Take care all.
Hugs
Donna

Challenge #37 at Joans Gardens!
Hi all,
Well another week, another challenge, always fun at Joan's, check out the challenge and the guidelines HERE.
Of course Selma, did a wonderful example card HERE, from Selma's Stamping Corner, she is truly a wonderful inspiration.
I followed the guidelines as best I could, and if you have any questions about my card, just ask and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
I used Elizabeth's Glitter to fill in my stained glass window, did a few other versions using colors and they come out so nice!! Love these new dies.
Thanks Joan, as I got my lovely new dies from you, as well as a lot of my other supplies!!
I apologize that my flowers are so small, I did not want them to be too big, and I think I went in the opposite direction and used ones that are too small, and I also may put some black bling in the four corners on the front of the card to dress it up a bit, some times it will take me days of touching up to finish a card to the point that I am 100 percent happy with it. I can not tell you how many times I walk in and out of my craft room and change the card around each time I do, and some times this works and some times it does not!! So I think I still have some more to do!! Such is life I guess.
And thanks to anyone that stops by my lonely corner of the world!!! : )

Weekly Challenge at Joan's (35)
Well, Hello all, another week and another Challenge at Joan's Gardens.
I Will list the guide lines below, I hope that I have done well enough by them, I love this new line of Bo Bunny Patterned Paper, very pretty, our local shop got it in, and for reasons I can not fathom, they are not ordering the line, and as they knew that I loved it, they gave me the sample line of paper, just gorgeous colors, very similar to their winter line last year in colors. But last years was also very sparkly, this is not, but still love the browns and the blues.
Anyway, enough of my rambling, again, below are this weeks guide lines, and then I will post my card following it. Will try and give a rough draft of what I used, if you have any questions, just give a shout and will get back to you as soon as I can. Also all supplies I used can be purchased through Joan, and HERE is a very lovely sample card by the wonderful Selma, from Selma's Stamping Corner, she is Joan's one woman design team and gives us all such wonderful inspiration, but we get a lot of inspiration from Joan herself too, she is just as talented!! And does some great video tutorials!!
Happy Crafting.

Well, here we are back to reality!! Have been away on a wonderfully relaxing vacation, went to NY state to visit with my Brother, in a house on Lake Keyuka, Hammondsport NY. Anyway, I am posting about my card that I did for Joan's Challenge #34, enjoyed making my card, I love making Christmas cards, I never make all one kind to send out, I send a whole bunch of different ones out. So this is my first attempt of the season, and there will be many more, I HOPE.

You can read all about the requirements there. And if you would like to see the sample card made by Joan's one woman design team, Selma, from Selma's Stamping Corner, check it out HERE, she does fantastic work.

Fall Challenge #32 at Joans Gardens
Well, now this is my kind of weather, (almost anyway) it is still a bit warm and humid here, but the old temps are going in the right direction for me, DOWN!!
Anyway back to the subject, I may get one more challenge in before we head out for vacation next week, as we are off to the mountains of New York State.
We will be staying at a wonderful place in Hammondsport NY, called Lake Keyuka, which our house is right on the lake, great views and some GREAT fishing right out the back door! I can't wait. The sunrises and sunsets over the mountain and lake are just breathtaking.
And the weather is much cooler up there already, so I have started to do some of our packing now, as we have to take a lot, I hate running around at the last minute and then you end up forgetting stuff, and bad enough with all the stuff I need and take, we do most of our grocery shopping here, as food is much cheaper, and I prepare a few of the meals in advance so it is just defrost, heat and eat.
Then, we will also eat out a few nights, and lunches are also mostly eaten out when we are out running around and doing some sight seeing and antiquing, our breakfasts are all mostly at the lake house as well, you know the nice leisurely lazy watching the sun rise type breakfast. And we all take turns cooking and cleaning. Most of the time it is just the 4 of us, me and hubby, and my brother and his wife, with time and distance I only get to see my brother once or twice a year, and as we get older those times are so very precious!!.
Anyway, I will be taking my laptop, to check in on things and to be able to keep up on my emails, TV is very limited there, that is OK, taking some DVD'S, and we play a lot of board games and cards, but unfortunately I will not be taking any of my crafting stuff, the old car is going to be full enough so don't want to overload my husband. With my health issues we have to take so much stuff, amazing what we, (I) need!!!
Then fishing gear of course is a must, my husband and I both love to fish, in fact a good friend of my brothers is a professional bass fisherman and he takes my husband out on his wonderful boat a few times for the day fishing, and he is all smiles for that, and we can't leave our dog home so packing for a 100 pound dog, her toys and blankets and stuff also take up space as well, for her she needs, THE WHOLE BACK SEAT, she sleeps most of the way, and is so well behaved. WE have to stop for me to pee more than the dog!!! I am forbidden any beverage the morning we leave, so that we can get at least an hour away before our first potty stop!!! :) We have someone staying at the house, but Mirage (dog) loves to travel with us, and loves laying on the dock while I fish, and you should see her when I catch them!!! So why not, she is family!!
Oh well, have bored you all enough with my excitement, the following are the guidelines for this weeks challenge, I love Joan's challenges, always different and always fun. So take a gander over to Joan's HERE, and if you would like to see Selma's wonderful example card, that is HERE. All supplies used can be gotten at Joan's, she has such a great variety of goodies and she ships out very quickly and if she does not have what you want, ask as she sure will try to help you get what you are looking for!!!
Here is what you need to do for Joan's Gardens Weekly Challenge #32
3. Or if you are posting to the SCS gallery, you will need to use a special code to tag your card to the challenge. This week's code is joansgardens, JG830 and needs to be posted with the challenge. Please enter both on the same line with a comma between as I have shown.
4. Link your card/project to the Blue Inlinkz icon listed at the bottom of the challenge.
If you have any questions, ask away, otherwise I do not list my items used anymore, it is time consuming to look some of it up and I have so few followers, it just is not worth it for me to do. I would gladly answer any ones questions, I just can not see doing something for no reason.
See you all maybe for next weeks challenge if I have the time in between packing, if not in a few weeks when I get back I will return to entering the fun time at Joan's, God willing.!!
Love ya all, and Big hugs and Thanks for stopping by.

PS, my pumpkins are layered 3d with pop dots, and there is glossy accents on the pumpkins stems. I also used 3 different colors of grass and layered them as well. It just does not show up well in the picture

Birthday for Kailey
Well, I luckily also got the time to finish my granddaughters birthday card, she loves Horses, so I thought this stamp would be appropriate. It is a Magnolia Stamp, and I thought the colors looked great!
I used copics to color the image, and went over the mane with my spica markers by copic to make it sparkle , and it does sparkle so prettily, even though you can not see it in the picture.
I also used liquid pearls on the Birthday Girl sign. The rest was a breeze.
I Used Roses made with dies from My Favorite Things, and put some glossy accents on them to simulate dew drops, and also put the glossy accents on the horses hooves to add some depth.
I hope she enjoys her card!!! (UPDATE) She loved her card!!)
Thanks for stopping by.

Joans Challenge # 25
HI all, I hope you all are having a wonderful summer so far, to me, it seems like it should be half over by now, as it has been so warm lately, and to me it seems like it is time for cooler weather!!
Anyway, I thought as the challenge is fairly easy this week I would have had a few cards done so far, but so far there is not much happening there, got one done and Hope to do at least one more, my mind wants to be on the go constantly but my body is not in agreement!!
So here are the guidelines for this week's challenge over at Joan's Gardens,
Here is what you need to do for Joan's Gardens Weekly Challenge #25
■Make a four layer card
■
Use ivory and green
■Use only a stamped image
■Use a sentiment
You will have until next Thursday (July 19) morning 6:00 AM EST to link your project.
You can enter more than once. A winner will be chosen from the Random Drawing for week #25
The winner of challenge and will be announced Friday July 20. This winner will win an a wooden stamp. The winner will also be entered in the end of the year $100 gift certificate drawing.
Below are the guidelines:
1. You must have a blog or post to the SCS gallery.
2. Post your challenge card to your blog.
3. Or if you are posting to the SCS gallery, you will need to use a special code to tag your card to the challenge. This week's code is JG712 and needs to be posted with the challenge.
4. Link your card/project to the Blue Inlinkz icon listed at the bottom of the challenge.
If you take a wander on over to Joan's site, and check out this week's challenge, you can see that you can get quite a few things on her site, and if you don't see something, ask and Joan is more than willing to help you find what you want!!
And you can check out a sample card made by her One woman design team, Selma, whom is so very talented, her card is HERE!!
Attached is my creation for this weeks challenge, if you have any questions, give a shout out, and THANKS for stopping by. Sorry I used the same stamped image as Selma, but I happened to have that stamp and just LOVE it, so figured why not, and I just love using my bow maker that my dear brother made for me, it looks just like the one that Becca Feekan has designed and sells, and it works wonderfully, and don't get to use it as much as I should, so I decided that today's 4 layered card just needed a nice pretty bow!!! I think that the card I made looks so much better in person than in the picture, the bow looks so dark in the picture, but it is a very nice rich crandberry color, and I also used a Spica glitter pen for the center of the flowers, so it is very sparkly but that does not show in the picture either. All basic suplies, copics, sentiment stamp, stamped image and cardstock, and Again, Thanks for stopping by!!
Big Hugs

Joans Challenge 19
Well, it sure has been some time for me, won't bore you all with the details, lets just say I hope I am on the up hill swing of things, this has been a very rough year for me, Health wise !! I have also been busy with spring planting, I so love this time of the year, all the pretty colors and everything so green, well I could do without the pollen part of it, but I do love my flowers, was hoping to get all the planting and out door work done before the Heat and Humidity of the summer got here, but with NJ, that can not always be accomplished as the summer weather sometimes over takes our spring weather and we don't get much of a spring, which did happen again this year. Such is life.
This challenge is over at Joan's Gardens, a superb place to get inspiration and to shop, so many wonderful things to buy. Come check it out HERE.
Anyway, on to the challenge, following are Joan's guideline's for this week,
What do you think of when you think of the month of June? Weddings? I know I certainly do.
So, today's challenge is just that. Selma has created this gorgeous wedding card. You can read all about it by clicking here!
Here is what you need to do for Joan's Gardens Weekly Challenge #19
Use a Wedding Theme
Use some kind of flourish
Pearls or Rhinestones for embellishments
Use only Black and White
You will have until next Thursday (May 31) morning 6:00 AM EST to link your project.
You can enter more than once. A winner will be chosen from the Random Drawing for week #19
The winner of challenge and will be announced Friday June 1. This winner will win a Cheery Lynn Die.
This week's code is JG0524 and needs to be posted with the challenge.
4. Link your card/project to the Blue Inlinkz icon listed at the bottom of the challenge.
With that being said, my card was created as I went along, just kind of happened, no plans, just sat down and this is what came up!! You can not tell in the picture but everything is in layers, 3d popped, staggered and cut using my nestabilities and one layer is embossed with the Swiss dots embossing folder, and the two wedding birds (Hero Arts stamp)are also layered. And my sentiment is on the inside. I felt the front of the card was full enough without trying to fit a greeting of some sorts in there. I do this a lot.
Will come back later and list all the products used, husband is waiting patiently for me so we can leave to go to a movie.
Thanks for stopping by, oh and by the way, most of what I used, was purchased at Joan's Gardens, or had in my stash. And the here is the sample card done by the amazing Selma, from Selma's Stamping Corner.
Have a great day,
hugs

And of course it would not be a challenge without an example creation by the wonderful Selma, from Selma's Stamping Corner, her creation can be seen HERE!! Selma's cards and flowers are just a wonder to be seen, she does some wonderful tutorials, she is definitely a big contribution to this business, her talents are amazing, and of course everything she uses can be purchased at Joan's Gardens, a wonderful place to shop!!
Supplies I used were mostly purchased at Joan's Gardens as well, for Today's card some of the supplies I used were,
Bazzil cardstock,
Spellbinders Flower Pot die
Memory Box Dies, Side border
The ivy I made useing Ivy Tendrils by Memory box, but I punched out some grape leaves with a punch bunch mini punch and glued them to the vine.
Martha Stewart Sprig punch.
I made the Flower using a Marianne die, I spritzed all petals with water, curled and dried the petals, then dabbed with Victorian Velvet ink, I think they look like carnations, then glued about 4-5 layers to get the end result. All made with my tool kit from punch bunch and my embossing mat from McGill.
I added some tiny flowers to the border die on the side and also to the ivy, touching up with some centers and cupping them before gluing onto the vine and ivy.
Also used the Cherry Lynn Flourish Die.
Some bling and inks and ta da, I am done.
Thanks so much for stopping by, take care and hope to be back soon.

Spring Has Sprung!!! YEAH!!
Well, the flowers are blooming, time has changed and the temps are on the Rise, so it is a good start to spring in our Neck of the Woods. Hope things are as well with you all.
Hope everyone had a wonderful St. Paddies day, ours was quiet, well if you can call having two grandchildren bursting with energy zooming all over the place, and of course my 80 pound dog does not know that she is a dog and not a kid, had to keep up with the kids and if they were outside and she could not go with them, then she was crying at the front door until they came back, so NOT a quiet day, lets just say a predictable day. But it was so very nice, as usual, my daughter was not around the block and my dear grandson, was out the door to hunt down his friends in the neighborhood to ride bikes or play basket ball, very much ALL little boy and always on the go!!
Then joy of my heart, my lovely granddaughter and I were busy in the kitchen, she helped me make dinner, and we made 3 different kinds of puddings and layered them, so it was a very nice afternoon, bonding and spending some wonderful quality time with the grand kids, did my soul a world of good, Kailey loves to cook and is a sponge in the kitchen, LOVE it. Thank goodness the weather was decent, and Brandon could go out, Love them both, but he does get bored so easily if he has to be indoors. Don't get me wrong, he also loves video games and the computer, but to me if they are young they should be OUTSIDE if the weather is nice, too many of today's kids are glued to the TV, Computer and Video games, would rather have them playing in the mud!!! So needless to say, that left not much time for card making over the weekend. And I was exhausted by the time they went home, but a good exhausted. Even the dog was pooped!!
BUTTTT, I did get to finish my weekly card for the Challenge over at Joans Gardens, she has a weekly challenge which is always so much fun, some wonderful people and some great prizes, always a pleasure. So if you would like to give it a try, HERE is the link to this weeks challenge.
So will post the guidelines below:
Here is what you need to do for Joan's Gardens Weekly Challenge #10
■
Create an Easter Card with a bunny
■
Use an embossed background
■Colors appropriate for Easter
■Some kind of Flourish
■Rhinestones
You will have until next Thursday (March 22) morning 6:00 AM EST to link your project.
You can enter more than once. A winner will be chosen from the Random Drawing for week #10
challenge and will be announced Friday March 23. This winner will win a Cuttle bug embossing Folder. The winner will also be entered in the end of the year $100 gift certificate drawing.
And it would not be complete without Selma's sample card for the challenge, Selma is Joan's wonderful Design team and friend and is wonderfully creative, she is so talented and gives us some great inspiration, and you can check out her card HERE, at Selma's Stamping Corner.
Well, guess that is enough for tonight, time to go enjoy a good movie or my weekly shows, maybe a miracle will happen and I will make it back with another card for Joan's challenge or just another spring card, as Easter is on the way and will have to get some family cards made for that, so we shall see, there is also my entire house waiting for me to do some SPRING cleaning, UGH, dread that chore, wish I could win the lottery and just pull a truck up to the house and dump everything and just start out fresh!! Heck, just buy a new house and just move in. One can dream!!
Have a great week everyone!!
Hugs
